CPTA
If you have a child at this school you are a member of the ‘CPTA’. We work hard to organise fundraising events, from which all proceeds are ploughed back into the school, providing our children with additional resources and opportunities to enhance their education, including resources, equipment and educational visits and trips.
In its time the CPTA has raised lots of money, which has been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children's education and the schools facilities.
CPTA is about much more than simply fundraising. CPTA exists to provide closer links between home and school, there is overwhelming evidence that parent participation in education helps our children do better in school. When parents and teachers work together the gains in achievement are significant. At Copplestone, we want to work together to provide closer links between home and school and think of ways forward to develop a partnership and work towards a common goal. We also have lots of fun and laughs along the way!
We meet up, on average, once every half-term, everyone is welcome to these meetings. We alternate between meeting straight after school (children welcome) and in the evening, we are always pleased to welcome new faces and ideas. If you are unable to attend meetings but can help in any way, whether it may be donating a raffle prize, baking cakes, helping to set up or run a stall, please let us know, help and support is always appreciated.
